What started as our wedding hashtag — has somehow just kinda stuck and what we do. We JUNG.
Our story:
We met in the fall of 2006, when Jonathan interviewed me for an intern position at TOMS. At the time, there were only 4 other people working there - all who have become our very best friends. We dated for almost eight years then married in the spring of 2014 in Tahoe. We both had a love for travel and always talked about taking an extended period of time off to explore everywhere and anywhere. Although it was a big step to leave something we had been a part of for so long, we knew it was time to do something for us.
Some would call it an extended honeymoon but we've, honestly, barely begun to scratch the surface - we've already been off for a year and still have so much more to do! We spent last summer exploring the national parks and spent the entire winter season skiing all through the western United States and Canada. And now, we're getting ready to start traveling internationally, starting with New Zealand in October.
We’re here to share our experiences and adventures with you and hope you’re inspired to JUNG.

A native Angeleno and french fries lover. Allie can strike conversation with just about anyone. She has a knack for learning languages and is determined to learn the basics (hi, how are you, what's your name, my name is, this is delicious, and i love you) in every language.
A little more about jonathan:
Previously known as the Shoe Dude, "Mohawk Jonathan" and first employee of TOMS. Bioengineer by training, operations and logistics dude by experience, but lover of exploring and the outdoors at heart. To him, getting married was the perfect excuse to hit the road and start a new chapter exploring.
