KAWAGUCHIKO FALL COLORS

October 31, 2016

After Tokyo, Jonathan, Stef, and I stayed a week longer in Japan to catch some fall colors and hopefully, get a glimpse of good ol' Mt. Fuji. We traveled to Lake Kawaguchiko and visited the Chureito Pagoda, where we visited earlier this year for the cherry blossoms.

Just some crazy spiders we found on our way up to the Chureito Pagoda. Don't know what I would do if one fell on me!

On our way back down, Stef and I ran into this cute old man and his wife, who were painting the scenery and Mt. Fuji. With very little words spoken, we talked about the upcoming election, his thoughts on Trump, his support for Obama, traveling from Mexico to California, and the Grand Canyon. It's amazing how much can be said with very little words and body language.
