From Osaka, we flew to Taipei for a short visit focused only on food. We decided to skip all the sights and just eat our way around Taipei. Immediately after arriving and checking in at our AirBNB we headed out to the night food markets for some snacks. Sorry, we didn’t take many photos in Taipei because we were too focused on eating. Here are a couple shots that we did take.
Below is one of my mom’s favorite street food snacks from Taipei. Deep fried taro balls with salted egg yolk inside.
You’ll notice that we’ve begun taking less photos. Part of the reason for this is simply enjoying our travels rather than being consumed with photographically documenting every aspect of our trips. Photos are great to trigger memories, but we’ve found that sometimes having a camera out all the time can take away from the experiences.
Taipei is a MUST visit for anyone who loves food. We would go back in a heartbeat.
